X-Cart ships with several different skins choices that are easy to install and use. However, most store owners would like to have their own look, logo and personal touch to the way their store looks.

Custom Design

There are two ways to have a custom design. The development time and costs are directly reflected in the choices. They are:

Modify existing Xcart Skin

This involves modifying one of the existing templates/skins that ships with Xcart. Any of these skins can be modified by changing header images, menus, buttons and by adding content into the various dialog areas provided. Typically this type of skin modification does not involve changing the layout aspect of the skin.

Create custom skin

This involves heavy modification to the cart’s overall appearance such as the product detail display, category display, site layout, menu placement and other major changes while keeping the dynamic functionality intact.
